As a Business Analyst within our Business Transformation and Effectiveness Team, you’ll play a critical role in driving enterprise-wide improvement and unlocking opportunities that make our organisation more effective, efficient, and customer-focused. This is not an IT Business Analyst role, instead, you’ll partner closely with business leaders to understand how we operate, identify opportunities, and help shape improvements that influence the whole operating model.
This full time role is based from our Brooklyn Pumping Station. Reporting to Senior Manager Field Delivery, this is a pivotal role within the Service Delivery team. As the Manager Maintenance you will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of efficient and effective maintenance regimes through strong engagement and coordination with Melbourne Water’s operational teams and maintenance service providers.
Use your Mechanical Asset Manager background to deliver technical and asset expertise for water/sewer assets, improving performance, lifecycle and maintenance.
As the Leading Hand Grass, you will be responsible for the execution of grass management activities for delivery of maintenance and project activities on Melbourne Water’s Waterways and Land assets. When required the operator undertakes natural resources management and civil maintenance/project works.
This role is critical in ensuring trade waste discharges meet key quality parameters, protecting our treatment processes and supporting our circular economy goals. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage compliance, drive sustainable practices, and contribute to a cleaner, greener future. The role exists to provide technical knowledge to assess the risk associated with health and safety and trade waste management to support the safe operation of the Sewerage Transfer System.
We are currently have a Leading Hand Natural Resource Management vacancy working in the Koo Wee Rup area from our depot in the Koo Wee Rup township. You will work in a unique landscape of the Koo Wee Rup swamp, come nose to nose with Southern brown bandicoots and growling grass frogs, as well as working along the Bass Coast and Bass River valley regions. Your ability to work part as a team and experience within Natural Resource Management as well as passion for improving the biodiversity and aesthetics of the areas will see you excel within these roles. Due to the travel required for the roles, you will be required to hold a valid Victorian Drivers license.
