As the Senior Water Supply Operator you will be responsible for providing practical hands-on operational expertise into planned works, system augmentations and provide a specialist function to the team.

In this 12-month role, reporting to Andrew Mellor, Manager Flood Awareness Communications the Targeted Flood Community Engagement Lead will be responsible for finalising the design and leading the delivery of the targeted flood community engagement stream, key strategic relationships and coordination of related customer and community enquiries.

We currently have a casual Interpretation Officer role within our Corporate Communications team based at our Western Treatment Plant in Werribee. This role involves the delivery of digital and in person education programs, both across Melbourne Water’s key sites and at community events held at various locations throughout the week and weekends. This role interacts frequently with the community, students and teachers in a range of environments to enable a deeper understanding on all aspects of the water cycle and encourage behaviour change. Reporting to the Visitation and Events Lead the Interpretation Officer aims to improve water literacy and build trust and connection with our customers and community, through the delivery of education programs in line with the Water Literacy Strategy.

As the Land Acquisitions Manager you will be responsible for providing advice to the business in relation to the acquisition of land and general property matters. This role will suit someone with vast land acquisition experience and excellent negotiation skills with proven ability to facilitate mutually agreed outcomes. Within this niche role you will analyse and evaluate specialist technical reports and studies to ensure appropriate decision making for land acquisition projects. Brief legal counsel and barristers and other specialists in land acquisition litigation matters in the Supreme Court, VCAT or other court proceedings.

In this 22-month fixed term contract as the Manager Yarra Strategic Plan Implementation, you will be accountable to Head of Aboriginal Engagement and Community Connections and responsible for leading the implementation of the Yarra Strategic Plan, Waterways of the West program
