About the Role

Reporting to the Manager Learning & Leadership Capability, this is a pivotal role within the Leadership & Capability team. As the Leadership Development Lead you will be responsible for driving a culture of continuous and conscious learning at Melbourne Water, through educating the business on effective ways to embed and apply learning into their ways of working and through facilitation, delivery and management of engaging learning experiences and programs as well as coaching. This will include:

  • Drive our Leadership Development agenda by embedding the Leadership Development Framework though various programs in our curriculum
  • Design, advise and where relevant, facilitate our various leadership development programs (e.g.PLG & SLG Forums, High Performing Team Sessions)
  • Consult and advise Senior Leaders to ensure leadership development initiatives are appropriate, timely and embedded effectively, utilising a collaborative approach.
  • Manage and promote our digital learning platforms to encourage just in time learning.
  • Ensure programs are delivered with consistency & quality.
  • Drive and embed our identified values, mindsets and habits as part of our learning culture, through developed initiatives and actions.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in L&D/ OD/ HR or equivalent experience.
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment
  • Strong experience in Learning and Organisational
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating learning and development workshops and programs
  • Experience managing programs and  external vendors/suppliers.
  • Strong knowledge of learning theory, innovative learning approaches, technologies and emerging trends
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and engagement skills
