Reporting to the Manager Operational Communications and Engagement, this role is responsible for implementing ‘next generation’ communications and engagement strategies, and program leadership for complex projects and business strategies delivered by Melbourne Water. Furthermore, you will be responsible for a Melbourne Water Service Portfolio ensuring strategic forward planning, consistent engagement approach and common language for projects and works associated with Sewerage, Water, Waterways, Flooding and Drainage and critical engagement services for major project planning and delivery as well as industry leadership and relationship management.
As the IT Improvement Analyst you will be responsible for identifying, creating, and participating in the implementation of continuous improvements via digital enablement solutions.
Overseeing the project delivery aspects of land and wetland on-ground works required to deliver the GGF Masterplan programs in Melbourne's urban growth areas.
We are currently recruiting two pivotal 18 month Fixed Term positions. These roles will lead and deliver key engagement programs across the development of Melbourne Water’s 2026 Price Submission. For both these roles you will require extensive experience in strategic communications and engagement, relationship management, customer relations and influencing. An understanding of the ESC’s PREMO model for water authorities is highly advantageous.

Reporting to the Customer Data & Insights Manager, the Customer Insights Lead will lead, develop and embed a Customer Insights Program for Melbourne Water to support the Customer and Community Strategy. The Customer Insights Program will define MWs approach to measuring performance against segments, services and experiences. A key focus of this role is to work with and engage the business to identify current customer insights and data gaps, socialize insights, and to drive continuous customer improvements across the business.
Reporting to the General Manger People Services this is a pivotal role within the team for leading technical and organisational compliance training by driving delivery and oversight of the governance framework of our core training curriculum, including mandatory and technical training requirements for both employees and contractors.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Program Reporting & Insights, the Insights Analyst - Water role will develop, implement and improve processes, systems and reporting required to ensure that Melbourne Water’s capital investment portfolio is effectively governed, managed and delivered in a manner that ensures prudent and efficient investment, and delivery of intended benefits.
