We are now seeking an experienced leader to join Melbourne Water as Manager Service Enablement – Eastern Treatment Plant (ETP). This permanent, full-time role is based at our Docklands Head Office, with regular onsite engagement at the Eastern Treatment Plant.
Reporting to the Head of Service Enablement One Water, this critical role is accountable for managing ETP infrastructure assets through the development and leadership of a high-performing team of process engineers, asset managers and project development resources. You will play a key role in delivering and optimising capital programs and maintenance regimes that support integrated growth, compliance and asset renewal outcomes.
Working closely with Planning, Delivery and Operations, you will lead the development of business plans and maintenance strategies that ensure assets perform as intended and respond effectively when infrastructure and systems are not operating optimally.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a heavy industrial, process-plant environment, with substantial investment and work programs underway.

The Security of Critical Infrastructure (SoCI) Act 2018 requires Melbourne Water, as an operator of critical infrastructure, to prepare a Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Program (CIRMP), which has been undertaken and managed by the Security and Emergency Management Team.
Melbourne Water are required to assess roles across Melbourne Water to determine what roles are critical under the Act. All employees working in a role deemed SOCI critical will require additional background checks via AusCheck. This role is deemed critical and the preferred applicant will be asked to undertake an AusCheck.
