The Role

This exciting full time roles is based at our Brooklyn site with travel to both our Eastern Treatment Plant in Bangholme, and our Western Treatment Plant in Werribee. As the Planning Coordinator, Works Delivery you will be responsible for the facilitation and effective planning and coordination of Maintenance related activities by Melbourne Water’s delivery and operational teams, EIMD maintenance service provider and all other contractors across the Infrastructure Operations operational facilities.

Your experience in Maintenance, Planning or Project Management and an understanding of large mechanical and electrical equipment will see you succeed within this role.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated substantial knowledge and experience in the maintenance of large and complex mechanical and electrical plant and equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently plan and schedule works and use systems to improve efficiencies.
  • Proven ability to provide a high level of customer service, and contribute to a constructive, positive and supportive team environment.
  • Experience with Maximo, MS Office and other IT asset based systems.
  • Demonstrated  experience managing and influencing across a diverse work force
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to ensure a common understanding is established.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management.

Your ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is required together with a relevant trade or tertiary qualification with significant industry experience.
