We are seeking either a Civil Engineer to work across our Dams & Headworks and Sewerage Transfer portfolios, or a Process or Mechanical Engineer to work across our Water Treatment portfolio. The role would see you working as part of a small team with responsibility across the entire Water and Sewerage asset base, and offers an excellent opportunity to add value and build a broad base of knowledge across Melbourne Water’s key assets.
This full time role will be based from our 990 La Trobe Street office, and working from home, with some travel to operational sites. You will be working in a team of highly motivated asset managers, where you will be responsible for planning and driving prudent and efficient asset management outcomes. A key requirement is an ability to understand the longer-term strategies of the water and sewerage systems, as well as the risk appetite of the business, to ensure our decisions are incrementally moving the business towards its goals.
You will provide technical leadership, co-ordination and oversight of a portfolio(s) in collaboration with the broader business, and your engineering experience will see you succeed within the role.
The full time salary ranges from $116,690 to $123,111 per annum inclusive of superannuation, depending on experience.
