About the Role

We currently have a Crew Natural Resource Management vacancy working in the Koo Wee Rup area from our South East Regional office in Carrum.

This exciting and dynamic role will see you make a difference to both the environment and along the waterways of the iconic Cardinia Shire. Along with traditional land owners these vital roles ensure the successful delivery of natural resource management and project works within the South region.

As a Crew Member your will be responsible for the execution of Natural Resource Management project of works within the Cardinia Shire region.

Your ability to work part as a team and experience within Natural Resource Management as well as passion for improving the biodiversity and aesthetics of the Cardinia Shire will see you excel within these roles. Due to the travel required for the roles, you will be required to hold a valid Victorian Drivers license.

About you:

• Experience in natural resource management or maintenance/project works 
• Problem solving skills, including the ability to deliver the appropriate outcomes
• Sound interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of people both within Melbourne Water, external organisations and with the general public
• Ability to work and contribute in a team environment to improve processes, respond to various demands and manage multiple activities simultaneously
• Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations
• Other qualifications such as Industry White Card, Chainsaw Ticket, AgVet, Fall Prevention, etc desired
• Valid Victorian Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and criminal record check
