In Melbourne, water is essential to our way of life.
As caretakers for Melbourne’s water cycle, we care for water, life and land throughout Melbourne: both its people and its biodiversity.
Each time you drink from the tap, flush a toilet or kayak down the Yarra, we’re there. Primed and ready, quietly delivering some of the world’s cleanest water for over five million residents and wildlife that call Melbourne home, just as we have for over 130 years.
If you value making it count, diving in with curiosity, and doing what’s right, you're in the right place.
Reporting to Manager Service Programs Land & Catchments, we have a short term opportunity to join the Service Programs team up until 5th September 2026. As the Senior Asset Planner you will provide expertise and support to the Manager Service Programs, Land & Catchments in applying best practice land management to develop integrated 5-10 year rolling investment programs for biodiversity conservation and land management including Sites of Biodiversity Significance, Ramsar management and land management services.
The role has a focus on biodiversity, environmental protection, and land and catchment management for all Melbourne Water owned and managed land or land that Melbourne Water has influence on, outside the water supply catchments.
Please note a Medical assessment and a Current full Victorian Driver’s License is required for this role.
