This is a fantastic part time opportunity to join Melbourne Water as the Edithvale Water Literacy Education Coordinator and help bring Melbourne’s water story to life for schools, community groups, and visitors.
In this role, you’ll coordinate and support the delivery of engaging water literacy education programs across Melbourne Water sites, including the Western Treatment Plant and Edithvale-Seaford Wetland Education Centre. You’ll play a key role in helping people understand the urban and natural water cycle, the importance of sustainable water management, and the role Melbourne Water plays in supporting a liveable and resilient city.
Based at the Edithvale-Seaford Wetlands Education Centres this role combines program coordination, education delivery, stakeholder support, and continuous improvement.

It is a great part time opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, explaining complex ideas in simple and engaging ways, and coordinating the details that help programs run smoothly.
You’ll be organised, confident communicating with different audiences, and comfortable adapting your delivery style to suit students, teachers, community members, and visitors. You’ll enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and you’ll bring a practical, solutions-focused approach to coordinating programs and supporting others.
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally bring:
A current a medical, Working with Children Check and current driver’s licence are required. First Aid qualifications are desirable.
