The Education & Events Lead is a pivotal role in turning Melbourne Water's Water Literacy strategy into high-quality, engaging experiences for schools, communities and visitors.
This role sits at the centre of program operations and is responsible for the end to end coordination t of education programs, site tours, visitation experiences and events across multiple Melbourne Water sites and locations. It combines people leadership, program and event operations, logistics, stakeholder engagement, communications, budget management and customer experience improvement.
A key focus of the role is managing customer enquiries, program bookings, workforce scheduling and operational coordination to ensure programs are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The role would suit someone with strong operational experience in large-scale events, education or community programs, who can lead people, manage complex logistics, influence stakeholders and turn strategy into practical, well-run educational experiences.
